Answer to Life?

Searching for "THE" answer?  probably not the right place.  BUT, if life's journey intrigues you, then welcome fellow sojourner!

I love this quote from the movie "The Big Short"  "It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so."

Ken Kesey embellishes this so well writing,

"The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer. They think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.
Anthony de Mello, Neil deGrasse Tyson, M. Scott Peck, Yuval Harari, Eckhart Tolle, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Richard Dawkins, Carl Sagan, Stephen Cave, Jesus, Buddha, Epictetus, Bart Ehrman, Robert Heinlein,  Joseph Campbell, Plato, Aristotle, Emilie Cady,  Albert Einstein, Stephan Hawking, Brian Greene, A.C. Grayling... They and many others all have a piece in unlocking "mysteries" and helping me to discover "objective truth" and navigate this precious life's journey.  Together they helped me evolve my current values and principles listed below.

So how did I get here?  This Italian phrase you see as you leave the Milan airport is apropos,
"Tutti, passi che ho fatto nella mia vita, mi hanno portato qui ora, (every step I have taken in my life has led me here now)

And every step has helped lead me to embody my principles in the following life practices:
  1. Be Still & Meditate (Clarity) remembering busyness is laziness
  2. Seek Objective Truth (reality)
  3. Relish Exploring Mystery above Finding Answers (purpose and humbleness)
  4. Cherish Others (compassion)
  5. Simplify (calmness)
  6. Love without attachment (joy)
  7. Live Healthfully (Vigor) via Longevity Diet, Exercise, Sleep & Fasting
  8. Drop Attachments (aka egoic cravings) via Awareness &
  9. Cultivating Gratitude (happiness)
  10. Live in the Now (contentment)
  11. Take Responsibility (self-actualization)
  12. Practice Stoicism (equanimity)
  13. Write a Good Story (meaning) per Stephen Cave's "Immortality"
  14. Follow Your Bliss (liberation) see below
